中央の楕円形メダリオンと、外側へ扇状に広がる区画を赤い薔薇で満たした構成。細部には花弁の濃淡や深緑の葉、蔓に添えられた小さな花まで表現されています。黒い帯に走る水色の曲線、金茶の波打つ縁取りが、鮮やかな花々を引き立てます。

Shaded petals, deep green leaves and tiny blossoms enrich the close details. Pale blue scrolls on black bands and golden-brown scalloped outlines define the composition. The border repeats red roses and turquoise foliage, softened by cream and purple miniature flowers.
