An Iranian machine-woven rug from the LUMINA Modal Art Collection, measuring 118 × 81 cm excluding fringe, with a modal pile and silk fringe.
Layered ivory and golden curved panels surround a gold-and-turquoise floral centre. Close details include dark blue flower centres, pink miniature blossoms and fine vines with golden leaves. Window- and column-like ornaments flank the field, balanced by rose bouquets above and below. Narrow floral borders complete the light, ornate composition. The smooth modal sheen makes this Persian-inspired rug an elegant accent for an entrance or sofa area.
