イラン・クム（ハサナバード）のABOLGHASEM工房による、シルク100％の手織りペルシャ絨毯です。房を含まず158×109cmで、アイボリーの地に花と鳥を描いたゴル・オ・ブルブル柄です。
赤茶やブルーの花とミントグリーンの葉の間に、枝にとまる鳥や翼を広げる鳥を配置。アップでは、鳥の翼と尾の細い線、花芯、足元の水色の水辺を思わせる文様まで見えます。明るい余白を生かしたフィールドを、同じ花鳥文様のグリーン系ボーダーと赤茶の外縁が囲みます。
シルクの光沢が花や羽の色を繊細に映します。リビングのアクセントや壁掛けとして、庭園の一場面のような手織りの表現を楽しめる一枚です。
A 100% silk Persian rug hand-knotted by the ABOLGHASEM workshop in Qom, Hasanabad, Iran. Measuring 158 × 109 cm excluding fringe, it features a Gol-o-Bolbol floral and bird design on an ivory ground.
Perched birds and birds with outspread wings appear among rust-red and blue flowers with mint-green leaves. Close-up details reveal fine wing and tail lines, flower centers and small blue pool-like motifs. A green-toned floral and bird border and rust outer edge frame the airy field. The natural silk sheen enhances this decorative floor accent or wall-hanging textile.
