羊の毛色をそのまま活かしたグレーやブラウン、アイボリーが混ざり合う落ち着いた原毛地色に、ザクロの木を大きく描いたルリバフの手織りギャッベです。

枝いっぱいに実る赤やオレンジのザクロに、グリーンの葉やブルーの小花を散りばめ、渋めのベースカラーの中に鮮やかな色彩が映えるデザイン。幹が大きく枝分かれしながら広がる構図には、伸びやかで生命力のある印象があります。

ザクロはペルシャの伝統文様で、豊穣・繁栄・生命力を象徴するモチーフとして親しまれてきました。
